The electricity failure has been noticed in several districts of Grindavik due to a failure in the distribution system. The landslide has caused pipes to break and transformer stations to be damaged by earthquakes. The town has of course emptied following last night's evacuation.
There is hot water throughout the town and good pressure in the system.
The cold water distribution system suffered some damage, but repairs have been completed and fire-fighting water is therefore available in all districts, according to the Civil Defence announcement."
То есть теоретически город эвакуирован, но при этом там кто-то есть, чинит и присматривает.
